The XII Latin American Syposium on Chronobiology was held in Mendoza, Argentina last October.

A workshop on Chronobiology Education was organized and colleagues from Chile (John Ewer), Mexico (Raúl Aguilar), Argentina (Diego Golombek), US (Eric Herzog) and myself from Brazil, discussed four themes as follows:

  • How important you find teaching basic concepts of Chronobiology?
  • At what age should those concepts begin to be taught?
  • To teach Chronobiology you think the principles of homestasis should be presented first?

A lively debate followed and distinct opinions were presented. Comments on the topics or other education issues are welcome, please address them to the individual participants or to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
